In this work we have designed and implemented scalable software dened storage with the
dedicated backend for archived data. In the process, the advantages and disadvantages of
SQL and NoSQL databases were studied. Based on them, we have designed a Combined
system where archived data was stored most eciently on a NoSQL database.
For this
purpose, the requirements for the NoSQL database were formulated. Algorithms have also
been developed for seamless access to both databases. As a result, a Combined system was
created and tested. The test results showed that with the correct selection of the NoSQL
database for the data stored in it, the eciency of both queries and the storage of the data
itself increases many times. Thus, we have shown eectiveness of scalable software dened
storage with the dedicated backend.
